My Weekend

This weekend was very busy for me. I usually work through the weekend, but I quit one of my jobs to have more time for studying. Working seven days a week and being a full time student just wasn’t for me. On Friday I was enthused about having a day off, but it didn’t really work that way. My grandma moved in with my family, so I had to help pack and move all of her things. After that, my boss needed me to watch his kids for him while he went out and partied on his Friday night, something I haven’t experienced in quite awhile. Babysitting for my boss isn’t too bad because I’m with the kids so much I’m like a big sister to them and he pays well. Although the kids did go to sleep easily for me, which is fairly unusual, the 10 month old kept waking up. His crying would wake up the two year old who then would start crying. When I got the two year old to go back to sleep, I picked up the baby and he puked all over me. I had puke in my hair, all down my shirt, on face, and all over my pants, but don’t worry, none of it got on the baby. This extra money definitely helps to pay the bills. On Saturday, I helped my grandma unpack some of her things and get herself organized. After that I went to the movies and seen The Lookout, which was a pretty good movie. On Sunday, I helped prepare dinner and then ate with the family. After dinner I caught up on all the studying that I didn’t do during the week.
